There is a model that is similar to the iQ that Toyota has planned to bring to the US.

The Toyota Aygo, its very similar to the iQ in size and mpg (I think its rated at 60mpg).

iQ to the U.S.?

Don't know if anyone has seen this already. I found this on <a href="http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/2....html">Kicking Tires.</a> The article is almost one month old and I couldn't find this on Autoweek as referenced in the article but it sounds promising!

The iQ is slightly larger than a Smart ForTwo and has rear seats that bump up against the rear hatch and glass. Wed guess those seats would have to go if the iQ were to meet safety requirements. Wed also guess Toyota will wait to see if the Smart is successful before making a business case for the iQ.
