Hi
I'm going to buy iq 1.4 d4d but don't know any person (even google does not know) who has diesel.
I took a test drive with 1.0 gas iq and it was surprisingly good. Only acceleration was a little bit poor, but 1.4 would fix it.
My current car is Yaris 1.4 d4d (190Nm torque) and iq has just the same engine but with 6th gear.

I have one, and it's quite fast with the 6 speed and all.

I have a strange driving pattern of 80% motorway and 20% short city driving. The diesel is great on the motorway returning about 20km/l, while city driving is OK. It doesn't feel nose-heavy like you might think, and because of the short length, it lifts and dips like an old American muscle car when accelerating Grin

Hi

Now i got mine two weeks ago. As you said it IS powerful and accelerates quickly and easily, especially from 40 to 100 km/h. Sixth gear is very good at highways compared to 2007 Yaris d4d with only 5 gears. That fifth gear was too short for highway. iQ is also more quiet than yaris. I have about 650 km in odometer now. I calculated diesel consumption with my first tank and it is about 4.6 liters/100 km but it is cold winter now here in finland, and winter tires and winter diesel fuel. In summer i expect lower consumption Smiley
